The City of Roseville has nearly 700 acres of parkland and natural spaces including blooming prairies, majestic woodlands, and wetlands teeming with wildlife.
Join Ecologist Paul Bockenstedt on Martin Luther King Day to learn more about how the city has protected and restored these cherished public greenspaces and is now planning for the coming decades.
Since 2000, Bockenstedt, an ecologist with Stantec, has helped the city conduct natural areas inventories, develop management plans, implement natural resources restoration projects, and other projects.
Bockenstedt will be discussing past projects and results and plans for the future. In addition, we will talk about the volunteer impact on these results.
