Curious about senior housing for yourself or a loved one? Join the Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D) for the first of a three-part series on Thursday, July 11.
The series will be held at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville, 2180 North Hamline Ave. It is designed to help individuals considering senior housing make an informed decision about making the move.
Part one, Understanding Senior Housing Options, is Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Catherine Engstrom, caregiver consultant at the Wilder Foundation, will present information about various senior housing options and how to evaluate them.
Part two will take place on July 25 and feature facility tours and practice evaluating options. Part three on August 8 will focus on the rights of facility residents.
The three-part Housing Decision series is part of RSVL A/D’s Dementia: Caring and Coping Series. It is sponsored by RSVL A/D and the Wilder Community Center for Aging and is funded, in part, by a Live Well at Home Grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
