Roseville is looking for some green thumbs. Even if your thumb isn’t so green, you can help. The city relies on volunteers to help keep city park grounds in tiptop shape.
Each year, individuals, businesses and community groups help through the Adopt-a-Park, Arboretum Green Team, Natural Resources, Community Orchard and Blooming Boulevards programs. Volunteers plant, weed and water in the parks, along boulevards and at the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum, making a visual difference in the community.
If you love plants, appreciate the beauty of our parks, or want to spend some time outdoors with a group of fun volunteers, contact Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Boggs at 651-792-7028 or rachel.boggs@cityofroseville.com.
We’re putting teams together for the 2020 season, so please call today. Whether you can give a few hours or can work every day, have a group you’d like to volunteer with, or want to be matched with an existing team, we’ll help find the right park project for you.
