In an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and protect the public, City Council members, Commissioners and staff, the City of Roseville will conduct City Council and Commission meetings virtually into May.
To date, these upcoming virtual meetings included City Council meetings on May 4, 11 and 18; the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on May 5; and the Variance Board and Planning Commission on May 6.
Additional May commission meetings may also be held virtually or cancelled. Please visit www.cityofroseville.com or call 651-792-7001 to confirm meeting times and locations.
City staff have devised several ways for the public to participate remotely in city meetings before and during the live meetings.
Members of the public interested in providing comment prior to a meeting may email the City Council or Commission. Online Council and Commission comment forms are also available. Email and comment form links are available on the city website. Written public comments will be compiled and delivered to City Council members or Commission members prior to the meeting.
Members of the public who wish to comment during public comment periods will be asked to join the meeting on the Zoom webinar platform. Meeting attendees should click the raise hand button during the appropriate comment period to alert city staff that they would like to comment. Individuals will be recognized and their microphones will be enabled, allowing them to comment. To register to attend a meeting virtually, visit www.cityofroseville.com/attendmeeting.
Members of the public who do not intend to provide public comment but are interested in watching a meeting are encouraged to do so via the city’s regular outlets. Roseville City Council and Commission meetings are streamed live and available live and on-demand at www.cityofrosevill.com/webstreaming. Meetings are also televised on Comcast Channel 16 to Roseville cable subscribers.
