Roseville Police say they are receiving an increase in reports of thefts from automobiles, and that the vehicles are frequently parked in a driveway and left unlocked.
Theft from automobiles is generally a crime of opportunity. Thieves don’t want to draw attention to themselves so they are looking for unlocked vehicles. No matter where you are parked or whether you are just running a quick errand, close the sunroof and windows, lock all of the car doors and engage the car alarm. By doing so, you are removing the opportunity for a thief to steal your valuables.
