Your new cart will be delivered a day or two before your usual recycling service. Please leave your old cart at the curb after it's emptied, and ContainerPros will take care of the removal. Residents should receive the same size (35, 64, or 96 gallon) and number of carts that you currently have at their property.
***Staff is aware that some residents have received the wrong size cart due to incorrect information in the cart database. If you received the wrong size of cart, please contact the Roseville Public Works Department at (651) 792-7004 or publicworks@cityofroseville.com. Leave the cart at the curb and the City will swap with the correct cart in the next day or two.
Important dates:
- New cart rollout: May 31 - June 13
- Size changes or additional carts can be requested starting July 1, 2025
- Your collection day remains the same, and recycling will continue every other week. If you're normally collected on a Monday, expect your new cart the Sunday before.
New recycling hauler
The City of Roseville switched its recycling hauler to Waste Management after a competitive bidding process.
Waste Management was the low bidder and provided the best value for the city and its residents. The new black carts with blue lids, owned by the City of Roseville, will be deployed in phases. Eureka Recycling will pick up the current blue carts around the same time.
Billing for recycling services is paid as part of the city utility bill. That will not change. There should be minimal disruption in service.
