City Council Members
Mayor Dan Roe
Terms: 2011-2014, 2015-2018, 2019-2022
Elected to a third term in November of 2018, Dan Roe has served as Roseville’s Mayor since 2011. A mechanical engineer who works as a sales manager for Dynamic Air Inc. in Vadnais Heights, Mayor Roe was a member of the City Council from 2007-2010. He has also served stints on the Planning Commission, Twin Lakes Stakeholder Panel, and the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Citizen Advisory Team. Mayor Roe currently represents the City on the North Suburban Communications Commission, and also serves on the boards of Northeast Youth & Family Services, the Roseville Visitors’ Association, and the Minnesota Benefit Association. A Roseville resident since 1990, Mayor Roe possesses a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
Council Member Jason Etten
Terms: 2013-2016, 2017-2020
Jason Etten was was re-elected to the Roseville City Council for a second term in November 2016. Etten grew up in Roseville and returned with his wife Jessica in 2004 to raise their family. The couple has two children, Tommy and Abby. Prior to taking his seat on the City Council in January of 2013, Etten served the community as a volunteer and a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission. A teacher and the choir director at Irondale High School in the Mounds View Public School District, he has a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
Council Member Wayne Groff
Wayne Groff is in his first term with the City Council, having been elected to office in November of 2018. Groff has lived in Roseville since 2009 and was previously a resident of nearby Falcon Heights for 25 years. Prior to joining the City Council, Groff was a member of the Roseville Planning Commission. He also previously served two terms on the Roseville Human Rights Commission. A board member of Arts Roseville, Groff also volunteers his time working on the Roseville Circulator Task Force and is a member of the Optimist’s Club. Professionally, Groff is a residential Realtor with Edina Realty.
Council Member Lisa Laliberte
Terms: 2013-2016, 2017-2020
Lisa Laliberte is in her second term as a member of the Roseville City Council after being re-elected to office in November of 2016. She began her initial term on the City Council in January of 2013. Laliberte and her husband have deep roots in our community as her family has resided in Roseville for more than 40 years. A marketing and communications professional in the healthcare industry, Laliberte earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from the University of St. Thomas, where she also took business marketing courses. In addition to her duties with the City and local volunteer roles, she is on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Humanities Center and previously served two years as the non-profit’s Vice Chair, followed by two years as the Board Chair.
Council Member Robert Willmus
Terms: Partial Term 2008, 2011-2014, 2015-2018, 2019-2022
Bob Willmus was re-elected to the City Council for a third term in November 2018. In addition to serving as a City Council Member, he has volunteered on the Parks & Recreation Commission, Parks Master Plan C.A.T., OVAL task force, Imagine Roseville 2025, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, the Harriet Alexander Nature Center, and other committees and task forces. Council Member Willmus earned a bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University and has worked in commercial and residential property development, management and sales.
