Historic Owatonna Tour
Tuesday, April 30 Program #7201.422 $80
Step back in time with a tour of historic Owatonna. We will begin our tour at the Steele County History Center, exploring the rotating exhibits, displays, and educational programming relative to Steele County and Minnesota history. Then we will have a guided tour of the Village of Yesteryear. The Village features 19 structures depicting what life was like in Owatonna and Steele County at the turn of the 20th Century. After a delicious lunch, we will enjoy a guided tour of the National Farmers Bank. The National Farmers Bank building is a premier example of Prairie School Architecture and was named one of the "11 Can't-Miss Stops on a Tour of America's Hidden Architecture Gems" on the mentalfloss.com website. Finally, we'll head to the Orphanage Museum for a guided tour.
Register by April 9. Fee includes deluxe coach transportation, coffee and pastries, lunch, and gratuities.

Minnesota Vikings Museum

The Minnesota Vikings Museum is a place for Vikings fans and Legends alike to experience the comprehensive history of the Minnesota Vikings and football in Minnesota. With a 360 degree video theater, multiple interactive exhibits and hundreds of historical artifacts, fans can learn the fascinating stories and insider details of the franchise throughout its 50+ year history in fun and unique ways. We will go on an hour guided group tour with their trained and knowledgeable tour guides.

Explore the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has more than 1,200 acres of gardens and tree collections, prairie and woods and miles of trails. We will take a guided tram tour of the Arboretum and hear a presentation about bees and pollinators from a naturalist while enjoying a lunch buffet. There will also be time to explore the gardens on your own. Don’t miss this chance to see some of Minnesota’s most beautiful garden.
Register by May 28. Registration includes motor coach transportation, Arboretum admission, tram tour, visit to Bee and Pollinator Center and lunch.
Depart 7:45am, return around 2pm.
Mamma Mia! At the Chanhassen Dinner Theater

Mississippi River Boat Cruise

Board the Minneapolis Queen for a narrated cruise down the Mississippi River. The state of the art, replica paddle wheel offers all the comfort and amenities of a yacht with the charm of a paddle wheeler. The cruise will depart from the beautiful Bohemian Flats Park on the U of M West Bank and will take us along the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway and Heritage Trail, along the U of M Campus riverfront, under the stunning 35W bridge, showcasing views of St. Anthony Falls, the historic Stone Arch Bridge, amazing river cliffs and views of downtown Minneapolis skyline. Lunch features an assortment of chicken salad, turkey breast and baked ham sandwiches, homemade coleslaw, fresh fruit, potato chips, pickle, chips and a cookie.
